FAQ

  • Classes

Q: How many children will be in a class?

A: Most classes have a maximum occupancy of 7 children. However, it may change depending on the class. You can see how many children are permitted in a class by reading its description before booking.

Q: How do I know if my child is right for your classes?

A: We understand that every child is different and requires different levels of care. That’s why we’re here! Feel free to contact us with extra questions regarding your child’s needs.

Q: Do I have to book the entire semester, or can I book just one class to test it out?

We give patrons the option to book classes individually, or book the entire semester. We strive to make our booking options as flexible as possible.

Q: Do you do walk-ins for classes?

Due to the amount of preparation and supplies that go into classes, we do not allow walk-ins. Purchases must be made ahead of time.

Q: What classes do you currently offer?

Visit our Classes page for detailed information about this.

  • Camps

Q: What is the child to coach ratio?

The ratio is 10 children to a head coach & assistant coach (if necessary).

Q: Do you have a late pick-up option?

We only offer late pick-up for our summer camps—instead of picking your child up at 3:30pm you can choose to pick them up at 5:30pm for an extra $30 charge.

Day camps do not have a late pickup option.

Q: My child has special needs. Can these be accommodated?

Please give us a call at (737)239-5779 and we’d be happy to discuss the accommodations your child will need during our camps.

Q: For Spring Break Camps and Summer Camps, do I have to book an entire week?

No, we give patrons the option to book by individual days or by the week. Booking a full week will get you a discounted rate!

  • Safety

Q: Am I required to sign a waiver?

A: Parents or guardians must sign a waiver for each child before entering the play space. You will have the option of emailing a copy of the waver to yourself.

Q: Do I have to watch my child?

A: Please note that we are not a drop-off center or childcare facility. Parents and caregivers must stay in the play space and supervise their children at all times during Open Play.

Q: What are the rules regarding safety?

A: Guardians must be watching their child(ren) at all times. There is a no tolerance policy for destruction of property and physically harming other guests. Although we are inclusive to all special needs, we reserve the right to ask children that are being disruptive, unsafe, or aggressive to leave if they are interfering with the learning & play of others.

  • Rules

Q: What are the general rules for your facility?

    1. Parental/adult supervision is required at all times for the safety of your child.

    2. Please tidy up after yourself, such as putting foam cubes back into the foam pit or cleaning up the legos.

    3. Shoes must be removed in play areas for sanitary purposes. Socks are optional.

    4. Food and drink are not permitted in play areas, but you are welcome to eat outside at our picnic tables or in our waiting room area.

    5. We have a zero tolerance policy for property destruction and physical harm of other guests. A: Please visit this page for information on all of our cancellation policies.

  • Counselor collaboration

Q: Can you communicate/collaborate with my child's therapy team?

A: As we are not considered a “covered entity” under HIPPA we will not ask for or keep record of any protected health information at this time. All other outside healthcare providers who are working with your child(ren) can submit a release of information form if requested by the provider working with the child or the parent of the child. At that point, “The Therapy Xploriment” will take reasonable precautionary measures (i.e. using abbreviations for names over text or email) when sharing information about the child with the parent or healthcare provider to keep information private and protected. “The Therapy Xploriment” at this time does not use, nor is required to use, encrypted email and HIPPA compliant software to manage its communication systems and will not be held liable for communication made between any of its employees and other organizations.
